A classic long-belted magnum from Winchester’s golden era — Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Pre-64 chambered in .300 H&H, manufactured in 1958.

Built on the controlled-round-feed pre-64 action, this Super Grade is configured with a 26" barrel with factory sights, the traditional and desirable setup for the .300 Holland & Holland Magnum. The longer barrel complements the cartridge’s performance, while maintaining the graceful proportions that define the model.

Super Grade appointments are all present, including the ebony forend tip, steel-capped pistol grip, and Monte Carlo stock with cheek piece, along with inletted sling swivel studs with Super Grade swivels and the original steel butt plate. The rifle presents exactly as a proper late-1950s Super Grade magnum should.

Weighing 8 lbs 0 oz with a 13½" length of pull, it balances beautifully for a long-action magnum — steady without being cumbersome and well suited to open-country or mountain hunting.

The rifle remains in excellent original condition, showing only the slightest evidence of handling from storage. Wood and metal present cleanly, preserving both collector appeal and field credibility.

A pre-64 Super Grade in .300 H&H represents one of the most elegant magnum configurations Winchester produced — combining classic lines, legendary action design, and one of the most storied cartridges in sporting rifle history.
