WINCHESTER MODEL 70 PRE 64 FEATHERWEIGHT 264 WIN MAG

A desirable pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in the flat-shooting .264 Winchester Magnum, manufactured in 1961. Light, fast, and built during the era that defined the Model 70’s reputation, this Featherweight delivers classic lines with real field performance.

The rifle wears a 22" barrel with the correct hooded front sight and flip-up rear sight, and is drilled and tapped with Leupold bases in place. Correct Featherweight details include 1" sling swivels, the aluminum floorplate, and a ventilated Winchester recoil pad—all contributing to the trim carry and lively balance that made these rifles favorites in the mountains.

Condition is very good to excellent, showing light, honest handling marks to the wood and metal consistent with careful storage and use. Weighing 7 lbs 6 oz with a 13 5/8" LOP, it shoulders naturally and carries easily.
