WINCHESTER MODEL 70 FEATHERWEIGHT SUPER GRADE PRE 64 30-06

A highly desirable pre-64 configuration — Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Super Grade chambered in .30-06 Springfield, combining the lighter Featherweight profile with the upgraded Super Grade appointments.

This example is fitted with a 22" barrel with factory sights, preserving the classic all-purpose hunting configuration. The Super Grade features are all present and well executed, including the ebony forend tip, steel-capped pistol grip, and a Monte Carlo stock with cheek piece. It retains the correct aluminum butt plate and inletted sling swivel studs with Super Grade swivels, reinforcing its elevated trim level.

Weighing just 7 lbs 2 oz with a 13 5/8" length of pull, the rifle balances exactly as a Featherweight should — lively in hand, quick to shoulder, and ideally suited to carrying in the field without sacrificing stability.

Condition is excellent original, showing only the slightest evidence of handling from careful storage. Metal and wood present exceptionally well, with no notable issues.

A pre-64 Featherweight Super Grade in .30-06 represents one of the most versatile and collectible configurations in the Model 70 lineup — combining practical field performance with the refined details that define Winchester’s golden era.
