WINCHESTER MODEL 61 PRE WAR 22 W.R.F

A desirable pre-war Winchester Model 61, chambered in .22 W.R.F. and manufactured in 1933—an increasingly scarce configuration from Winchester’s golden era of rimfire production. The Model 61 remains one of the finest pump-action .22s ever built, combining smooth operation with exceptional accuracy and classic lines.

This example is fitted with a 24" octagon barrel with factory sights, a pistol-grip stock, and a steel buttplate, giving it the unmistakable look and feel collectors seek in early production rifles. Balance and handling are excellent, with the rifle weighing 5 lbs 13 oz, making it both steady and pleasant to shoot.

Condition is very good original, showing some light handling to the wood and metal, entirely consistent with careful use over more than 90 years. Nothing excessive or out of place—an honest, unmolested pre-war rifle.

With a 13 3/8" LOP, this Model 61 presents as a correct, clean example of a classic Winchester rimfire—equally appealing to the collector seeking originality or the shooter who appreciates vintage quality that still performs as intended.
