A solid early post-war example of Winchester’s finest pump-action rimfire, this Winchester Model 61, manufactured in 1948, is chambered for .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle and represents the model during its most desirable production period.
The rifle is fitted with a 24" barrel with factory sights and retains its correct steel butt plate, preserving the clean, classic lines that made the Model 61 a benchmark among rimfire repeaters.
Condition is good and honest, showing blue loss on the top and left side of the receiver, consistent with normal use rather than neglect. Importantly, the rifle is mechanically sound, making it a straightforward shooter or a solid addition to a Winchester rimfire lineup. It weighs 5 lbs 4 oz and measures 13⅜" LOP, offering light, quick handling.
A well-used but correct Model 61—an honest Winchester rimfire with plenty of life left and enduring appeal.
