A standout example of Winchester’s legendary rimfire, this Model 52-C Sporter was manufactured in 1957 and remains in excellent, near-new condition. Known universally as The King of the .22s, the Model 52 represents the pinnacle of American rimfire bolt-action design, and the Sporter variant is among the most desirable.

This rifle is fitted with a 24" barrel and retains its correct Lyman rear peep sight paired with a Redfield front bead, a classic and highly effective sighting combination. The famed Micro-Motion trigger delivers superb control, while the stock features a steel-capped pistol grip, raised cheekpiece, inletted sling swivel studs, and a steel buttplate—all details that define the Sporter configuration.

The rifle includes one original Winchester magazine and shows only the slightest handling marks to the wood and metal, consistent with careful storage rather than use. At 7 lbs 7 oz, with a 13 5/8" LOP, it balances beautifully and handles with the refinement expected of a top-tier sporting .22.

An increasingly scarce Model 52-C Sporter in this level of condition—highly appealing to the Winchester collector and equally rewarding for the rimfire enthusiast who appreciates precision, craftsmanship, and classic American design.
