WINCHESTER MODEL 42 410 FULL CHOKE PLAIN BARREL – MADE 1952

A clean, high-condition Winchester Model 42, manufactured in 1952 and configured in one of the most desirable field setups—a 26" plain barrel, full choke, and 3" chamber. The Model 42 remains the benchmark American .410 pump, and examples like this—honest, original, and unmolested—are becoming increasingly difficult to source.

This gun wears its standard stock and forearm along with the correct Winchester hard rubber buttplate, preserving the classic lines collectors want to see. The full choke (.016) makes it an excellent small-game or clay gun while maintaining the smooth, effortless handling the Model 42 is famous for.

Condition is excellent, with only minimal handling marks to the wood and metal consistent with careful storage and very light use. Finish remains strong throughout, and the gun presents exactly as a well-kept early-1950s Model 42 should.

At 6 lbs even with a 14" LOP, it balances beautifully and shoulders naturally.

A very nice, high-condition Model 42 .410—not dressed up, not altered, just a correct, original Winchester in a configuration that continues to be quietly sought after by knowledgeable collectors and shooters alike.
