WINCHESTER MODEL 23 1981 DUCKS UNLIMITED 12 GAUGE

A commemorative variant of Winchester’s modern American side-by-side, this Winchester Model 23 Ducks Unlimited 12 Gauge, manufactured in 1981, was part of Winchester’s early collaboration with Ducks Unlimited, produced to support conservation efforts and appeal to waterfowl enthusiasts.

The gun is fitted with 28" vent-rib barrels choked Modified and Full (.015/.036) with 3" chambers, making it well suited for waterfowl and general field use. Features include a single selective trigger, beavertail forearm, pistol grip stock, and a recoil pad, consistent with the Model 23’s durable, shooter-oriented design.

Condition is good overall. There are visible signs of past surface rust on the left barrel, receiver, and forearm, along with light handling marks to the wood from storage and use. Importantly, the gun remains mechanically excellent, and the noted surface issues appear cosmetic rather than structural.

Weighing 7 lbs 9 oz, with dimensions of 2½" DAH, 1½" DAC, and 14¼" LOP, it balances well and handles comfortably.
