WINCHESTER MODEL 1903 DELUXE 22 AUTO

An early and beautifully preserved example of Winchester’s pioneering semi-automatic rimfire, this Winchester Model 1903 Deluxe .22 Auto, manufactured in 1904 during the second year of production, represents the formative period of Winchester’s autoloading rifle design.

The rifle is fitted with a 20" round barrel and a correct steel butt plate, retaining the clean lines and solid feel that defined the Model 1903. Condition is excellent, showing only very minor handling marks to the wood and metal, consistent with careful use and long-term preservation. A crack in the forearm was repaired at some point; the repair presents cleanly and poses no functional or structural issues.

Weighing 5 lbs 12 oz with a 13¼" LOP, the rifle balances nicely and remains an enjoyable shooter as well as a collectible. It is cased in a wooden Winchester box and accompanied by accessories, adding to its overall appeal and completeness.
