WINCHESTER MODEL 1903 DELUXE 22 AUTO

A scarce and very attractive Winchester Model 1903 Deluxe, manufactured in 1905 and representing one of Winchester’s earliest and most elegant semi-automatic rimfire designs. The Deluxe variant, with its factory checkered stock, sits well above the standard Model 1903 and is far less commonly encountered in honest, original condition.

This example is fitted with a 20" barrel with open sights and the correct crescent steel buttplate, giving it the classic Winchester profile collectors look for. Weighing just 5 lbs 7 oz, it balances lightly and shoulders beautifully—exactly as intended.

Condition is very good and original, showing honest handling to the wood and metal consistent with more than a century of careful ownership. The receiver exhibits a pleasing, even patina, while the gun still retains very fine original finish overall—an excellent survivor from the early smokeless era.

With a 13¼" LOP, crisp checkering, and strong eye appeal, this is a highly collectible early Deluxe Model 1903 that checks the important boxes: originality, condition, and desirability.

A standout example for the Winchester collector or rimfire enthusiast seeking an early, deluxe-grade Winchester autoloader with real historical presence and long-term collector appeal.
