WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 DELUXE TAKEDOWN LIMITED SERIES 44-40 WCF

Manufactured in 2008 by Miroku, this Winchester Model 1892 Deluxe Takedown Limited Series is a beautifully executed modern production of one of John Browning’s most iconic lever-action designs. The 1892 remains celebrated for its smooth cycling, compact profile, and classic Old West character, and the Miroku-built examples are widely respected for their quality of machining, fit, and finish.

This rifle is chambered in .44-40 WCF and fitted with a 20" octagon barrel, giving it the traditional look and steady balance collectors seek. Sighting equipment consists of a semi-buckhorn rear with a brass bead front, and a steel crescent buttplate completes the classic Winchester silhouette. The rifle is a takedown model, offering the added appeal of easy transport and mechanical interest. As typical of this series, it incorporates a tang safety.

Condition is as new in box, showing virtually no evidence of use. Weight is 6 lbs 12 oz, with a 13" length of pull, making it lively and comfortable in the hands.

Priced at $2,450, this is a sharp, high-quality Winchester 1892 Deluxe Takedown in .44-40—a limited-series rifle that captures the look and feel of the original while delivering the refined fit, finish, and smooth function modern Miroku production is known for, making it an exceptional value for the money.
