WILLIAM EVANS BOXLOCK SXS RIFLE 470 NITRO

A powerful and traditionally configured British dangerous-game rifle, this William Evans Boxlock Side-by-Side in .470 Nitro Express represents classic London sporting form, purpose-built for serious stopping work.

The rifle has been 100% refinished in the UK, presenting today in clean, uniform condition with strong cosmetics throughout. It is fitted with 28" barrels that retain excellent bores, an essential consideration in a heavy Nitro Express rifle of this class. Configuration includes double triggers, extractors, a splinter forearm, and a pistol grip stock, staying true to the straightforward, functional layout favored for dangerous game.

At 11 lbs 10 oz, with a 14 7/8" length of pull, the rifle has the mass and balance required to manage the substantial recoil of the .470 NE while maintaining controllability and follow-through.

A properly restored William Evans .470 Nitro—honest, powerful, and ready for field or collection—ideal for the sportsman seeking a classic British big-game rifle with fresh presentation and proven authority.
