The Wild West Guns Co-Pilot Takedown, chambered in .457 Magnum / .45-70, takes the proven Marlin 1895 platform and reworks it into a compact, hard-use rifle meant to go places full-length lever guns don’t. Built on a big-loop Marlin 1895, the Co-Pilot concept was developed for guides, pilots, and hunters who needed a powerful rifle that could be broken down, stowed, and deployed without fuss.

The rifle wears an 18½" ported barrel fitted with an adjustable rear peep and blade front sight, a setup that favors fast acquisition and control under recoil. A parkerized finish keeps glare down and durability up, while the checkered stock and Decelerator recoil pad make the .45-70 manageable in a lightweight package.

At 6 lbs 15 oz with a 13⅜" LOP, the rifle stays compact and field-balanced, carrying easily without feeling insubstantial. Condition is excellent, showing only very light handling from careful storage and limited use.
