STEYR MANNLICHER MODEL SBS EUROPEAN GOISERER 7×64 MM

A refined and increasingly sought-after Steyr Mannlicher SBS Goiserer, chambered in the classic 7×64 and manufactured in March 1998. This model blends traditional Alpine styling with Steyr’s modern SBS (Safe Bolt System) action, resulting in a rifle that is both elegant and exceptionally practical.

The rifle features a 20" hammer-forged barrel with Steyr’s distinctive exterior forging swirls, fitted with open sights and housed in a beautifully checkered full-length Mannlicher stock with cheekpiece. The SBS action provides one of the safest and most robust bolt systems ever designed, and the receiver is factory tapped for scope bases, allowing easy optic mounting while preserving clean lines.

Condition is excellent, showing only the slightest handling marks to the wood and very minor muzzle wear—entirely consistent with careful ownership. At 7 lbs 8 oz, the rifle balances beautifully, carrying light yet steady, with a comfortable 14 3/8" LOP.

A superb example of the European Goiserer, offering Old World aesthetics, modern engineering, and a superb all-around hunting cartridge. Ideal for the Steyr collector or the hunter who appreciates classic Mannlicher lines paired with contemporary performance.
