A distinctive Smith & Wesson Model 386 AirLite Sc Mountain Lite, manufactured in 2001 and chambered in .357 Magnum. Built on the larger L-frame, the Mountain Lite combines full-size revolver proportions with the weight-saving materials that defined Smith & Wesson's early AirLite series.

The revolver features a scandium-alloy frame paired with a titanium cylinder, substantially reducing weight compared with a conventional steel L-frame. It is fitted with a 3 1/8" barrel, adjustable rear sight, Hi-Viz front sight, and Hogue Bantam grips.

The combination of the compact barrel and lightweight construction gives the 386 Mountain Lite a configuration quite different from the heavier traditional .357 Magnum L-frames, while the adjustable sights provide a more refined sighting arrangement than typically found on compact revolvers.

The gun remains in excellent condition overall, showing some light wear from use and storage.

Produced during the early period of Smith & Wesson's use of scandium and titanium in production revolvers, the Model 386 Mountain Lite is an interesting and less commonly encountered L-frame variation.
