SMITH & WESSON MODEL 18 COMBAT MASTERPIECE 22 LR

Manufactured in 1957, this Smith & Wesson Model 18 Combat Masterpiece represents one of the finest rimfire revolvers of the postwar era, built to mirror the handling and sight picture of the K-frame centerfire service revolvers. Long favored by law enforcement and serious shooters as a training companion, the Model 18 combines precision, balance, and durability in a practical, no-nonsense package.

This example is fitted with a 4" pinned barrel and features an adjustable rear sight with ramped front sight, mounted on the K target frame with square butt configuration. Additional features include the desirable four-screw frame, walnut grips, and classic blued finish, all hallmarks of Smith & Wesson’s high standard of mid-century production.

Condition is good to very good, showing some handling marks and areas of blue wear consistent with normal use. The revolver presents as honest and unaltered, retaining the solid mechanical feel and crisp handling for which these models are known.

A correct and well-preserved example of the Smith & Wesson Model 18 Combat Masterpiece—an enduring .22 LR revolver valued for its shootability, balance, and classic K-frame lineage.
