SMITH & WESSON MODEL 18 COMBAT MASTERPIECE 22 LR

Manufactured in 1951, this Smith & Wesson Model 18 Combat Masterpiece is an early example of one of the company’s most respected rimfire revolvers, designed to duplicate the handling and sight picture of the K-frame centerfire service guns. Intended as a training and sporting revolver, the Model 18 quickly earned a reputation for accuracy, balance, and durability.

This example is built on the K target frame with square butt configuration and retains the desirable five-screw frame, a hallmark of Smith & Wesson’s pre-engineering-change production. It is fitted with a 4" pinned barrel and equipped with an adjustable rear sight and ramped front sight, finished in the factory blued finish and fitted with walnut grips.

Condition is good, showing expected signs of use consistent with a revolver that has been shot and enjoyed. Mechanically sound and well balanced, it remains a very good shooter, offering the smooth trigger and practical accuracy that define the Model 18.

An honest, early Smith & Wesson Model 18 Combat Masterpiece—well suited for the shooter or collector seeking a classic K-frame rimfire with pre-1955 features and proven usability.
