SCARCE SMITH & WESSON MODEL 51 ROUND BUTT 22/32 KIT GUN 22 MAG

A desirable and somewhat scarce variation of the classic Kit Gun — Smith & Wesson Model 51 .22/32 chambered in .22 Magnum Rimfire, featuring the less commonly encountered round butt configuration.

This example is fitted with the standard 3½" barrel with adjustable rear sight, giving the revolver excellent utility for trail use while maintaining the compact proportions that defined Smith & Wesson’s Kit Gun series. The revolver retains its blue finish and factory wood grips, preserving the traditional appearance of these lightweight field revolvers.

The round butt frame adds a degree of rarity compared to the more frequently encountered square butt examples and also contributes to improved concealability and carry comfort.

Condition remains excellent, showing minimal handling. The revolver is accompanied by its factory box and cleaning kit, enhancing both presentation and collector appeal.

The Model 51 represents Smith & Wesson’s magnum version of the classic Kit Gun — combining small-frame portability with the increased performance of the .22 WMR cartridge.
