SAVAGE ANSCHUTZ MODEL 153 222 REM

A well-regarded collaboration known for accuracy, this Savage Anschutz Model 153 in .222 Remington combines Anschutz barrel quality with classic mid-century sporting rifle design. The 20" barrel retains its factory sights and is paired with a period-correct Weaver K8 scope, making this a practical and historically appropriate setup for varmint or target use.

The rifle features a plastic butt plate and carries with the solid, steady feel typical of these Anschutz-influenced rifles. Weight is 7 lbs 13 oz with the scope and approximately 6 lbs 13 oz without, with a 13¼" LOP.

Condition is very good, showing light handling and some blue wear, consistent with careful use rather than neglect.

A straight, honest Model 153—valued for its accuracy, classic styling, and dependable performance in .222 Remington.
