SAKO L579 FORESTER 308 WIN

A classic Sako L579 Forester in .308 Winchester, configured in the highly desirable full-length Mannlicher stock and weighing in at a trim 6 lbs 9 oz. These rifles are prized for their superb barrels, slick actions, and outstanding real-world accuracy—and this example is no exception.

The rifle features a 20" barrel with a hooded front sight, scope bases, and a clean receiver with no rear sight, giving it a sleek profile ideal for scoped use. The Mannlicher stock with cheekpiece delivers excellent balance and fast handling, making this an outstanding woods or mountain rifle. A Decelerator recoil pad and sling swivels round out a very practical, shootable setup.

Condition is very good, showing honest handling marks to the wood and metal consistent with careful use rather than neglect. Nothing abused, nothing hidden—just a well-kept Sako that’s ready to hunt.

With a 13¾" LOP and classic Sako ergonomics, this L579 Forester offers everything collectors and shooters look for: quality, balance, and understated European refinement.
