RUGER MODEL 77 GUNSITE SCOUT 308 WIN

A modern tactical hunting rifle inspired by Jeff Cooper’s scout rifle concept — Ruger Model 77 Gunsite Scout chambered in .308 Winchester, manufactured in 2013.

This rifle features a 16.1" cold hammer-forged barrel fitted with a flash suppressor, keeping the rifle compact and maneuverable while maintaining excellent durability and accuracy. The action is built on Ruger’s alloy steel receiver with controlled round feed, a robust system well regarded for reliability under field conditions.

A Picatinny rail mounted forward of the receiver allows for the installation of scout-style optics or conventional scope setups. The rifle feeds from a 10-round detachable box magazine, providing ample capacity while remaining quick to reload.

The rifle is stocked in a durable laminated stock with sling swivel studs and a rubber recoil pad, offering practical field utility and comfortable recoil management. Weight comes in at 7 lbs 12 oz, giving the rifle a balanced feel for both field carry and supported shooting. Length of pull measures 12 13/16".

Condition remains excellent, showing only light handling from careful use and storage.
