A Remington Nylon 66 Mohawk Brown .22 LR, manufactured in 1972.
Introduced in 1959, the Nylon 66 was notable for its innovative use of a DuPont Zytel nylon stock and receiver structure, creating an exceptionally lightweight and durable semi-automatic .22. The Mohawk Brown was the original and most widely produced Nylon 66 configuration.
This example features a 19 1/2" barrel with factory sights and the distinctive Mohawk Brown stock. The rifle remains in excellent condition, showing only very light handling from careful use and storage.
Weight is 4 lbs. 3 oz., with a 13 5/8" LOP.
A classic example of one of Remington's most recognizable and innovative rimfire designs.
