A sharp Remington Nylon 66 Black Diamond .22 LR, manufactured in 1978 and remaining in excellent near-new condition.

This example features the distinctive black synthetic stock paired with a blued receiver, giving the Black Diamond a noticeably different appearance from the more familiar brown-stocked Nylon 66 variations. The rifle is fitted with a 19 1/2" barrel with factory sights.

Condition is a major strength of this rifle. It remains excellent to near new, showing only very light handling from careful storage and limited use. The black stock and metal finishes present exceptionally well.

At just 4 lbs. 2 oz., with a 13 3/4" LOP, the Nylon 66 is remarkably light and handy—a characteristic that helped make the model one of Remington's most recognizable rimfire rifles.

The Black Diamond is one of the more interesting Nylon 66 variations, and high-condition examples have developed a strong following among Remington and rimfire collectors.
