An elevated London over/under with distinguished engraving, this James Purdey & Sons Extra Finish O/U 12 Gauge, engraved by Ken Hunt, pairs refined artistry with a practical, shooter-focused configuration.
The gun is fitted with 27" vent rib barrels choked .011 and .030, with 2¾" chambers, offering a balanced compromise between quick handling and longer-range capability. Features include a single trigger, ejectors, beavertail forearm, pistol-grip stock, and a leather-covered recoil pad, keeping recoil management and control at the forefront.
Condition is like new, showing only minimal handling from careful storage. Weight is 7 lbs 5 oz, with dimensions of 2" DAH, 1½" DAC, and a 14¼" LOP, presenting as steady and composed rather than overly light.
A desirable Purdey Extra Finish O/U, enhanced by Ken Hunt engraving—offering London best quality, tasteful embellishment, and a configuration intended to be used rather than admired from a distance.
