A high-grade London over/under offered with two factory barrel sets, this James Purdey & Sons Best O/U 12 Gauge (12/12) two-barrel set combines versatility with Purdey’s restrained execution.
The gun is supplied with 26" solid rib barrels choked .010/.010 for closer, quicker work, and a second set of 28" solid rib barrels choked .023/.047 for longer-range shooting. Both sets have 2¾" chambers. Configuration includes a single trigger, ejectors, field forearm, and English grip, keeping the layout clean and practical across both barrel options.
Condition is excellent, showing only light wear, and the set is housed in its maker’s case. Weight is 6 lbs 14 oz, with stock dimensions of 2½" DAH, 1½" DAC, and a 15¼" LOP, providing a steady, composed feel without excess mass.
A desirable Purdey Best O/U two-barrel set—well balanced, broadly useful, and offered complete, appealing equally to the shooter who values flexibility and the buyer seeking a top-tier London gun.
