POLI OPAL EXTRA SXS 28 GAUGE

An elegant Italian small-bore, this Poli Opal Extra Side-by-Side in 28 Gauge reflects the high level of craftsmanship for which Armi F.lli Poli of Gardone, Italy has been known since its founding in 1966. The Opal model is Poli’s hammerless boxlock with sideplates, offering refined aesthetics while retaining the strength and balance of a traditional boxlock action.

This example is Temponi engraved, with crisp, tasteful coverage that complements the gun’s clean lines. It wears 28" solid rib barrels choked .012 and .031 with 2¾" chambers, a classic and versatile upland configuration. Features include double triggers, ejectors, a splinter forearm, English grip, and a checkered butt, all in keeping with traditional British-influenced styling.

Weighing just 5 lbs 14 oz, the gun carries effortlessly, with dimensions of 2 3/8" DAH, 1 3/8" DAC, and a 14 5/8" LOP. Condition is excellent, showing only light handling, and presenting as a well-cared-for, high-quality small-bore.
