PIOTTI BOSS O/U 28 GAUGE

A refined Italian over/under built in the tradition of London best guns — Piotti Boss-Style Over/Under 28 Gauge, combining elegant proportions with lively small-bore handling.

This example is fitted with 28" solid rib barrels choked .012 and .019 with 2¾" chambers, a highly practical setup for upland shooting where the 28 bore excels. The Boss-inspired action is paired with a single trigger and ejectors, while the gun carries a traditional field forearm and straight English grip that give it clean, understated lines.

The stock terminates in a checkered butt with heel and toe clips, a classic best-gun feature that adds both durability and aesthetic refinement. The gun shows slight cast-off, making it well suited for right-handed shooters.

Weighing just 5 lbs 13 oz, the gun is exceptionally lively yet controlled with the 28" barrels. Stock dimensions measure 2¼" drop at heel, 1½" drop at comb, with a 14¼" length of pull.

Condition remains excellent, showing some light handling with minor blue wear to the barrels, consistent with careful use. The gun is housed in its maker’s case.

A beautifully proportioned Piotti 28 bore Boss-style over/under, offering the elegance of London-inspired design with the precision and craftsmanship of modern Italian gunmaking.
