PERUGINI & VISINI MODEL ZIHINI COMPETITION 12 GAUGE MADE 2012

Perugini & Visini Zihni Competition 12 Gauge | Made 2012

A purpose-built Perugini & Visini Zihni Competition 12 gauge, manufactured in 2012 and configured with the additional weight, barrel length, and stock dimensions desirable in a dedicated sporting gun.

The gun is fitted with 30" solid rib barrels with 3" chambers and factory screw-in chokes, including two Modified and two Improved Modified tubes. A single trigger, ejectors, and the interchangeable choke system provide the versatility expected from a modern competition double.

The sporting configuration is completed by a beavertail forearm, pistol grip stock, and checkered butt. At 8 lbs. 2 oz., the gun has substantial weight for a side-by-side, helping provide a deliberate, controlled swing while keeping recoil manageable over extended shooting sessions.

Condition remains excellent with minimal handling to the wood and metal finishes, presenting as a very lightly used example.

Stock dimensions measure 2 3/8" DAH, 1 3/8" DAC, and a generous 15" LOP.

The Zihni Competition is an unusual departure from the lightweight game guns more commonly associated with fine Italian side-by-sides. With its 30" barrels, substantial weight, single trigger, beavertail forearm, and interchangeable chokes, this example was clearly configured with the sporting course in mind.

A distinctive Italian competition side-by-side offering the craftsmanship of Perugini & Visini in a decidedly modern sporting configuration.
