A classic small-frame Parker, this DHE 20 Gauge built in 1918 on the O frame offers the quick, lively handling that has made the 20-gauge Parker one of the most sought-after upland guns. The 26" solid rib barrels measure .001 and .002 with 2¾" chambers, giving this example an open, responsive setup ideal for close work in the field.
The configuration is pure Parker elegance: double triggers, ejectors, English grip, and the iconic skeleton butt, all contributing to the gun’s clean lines and balanced feel. At 6 lbs 6 oz, it carries exceptionally well, with dimensions of 2 1/16" DAH, 1 3/8" DAC, and 14 9/16" LOP.
The gun remains in very good condition overall, showing honest wear to wood and metal—exactly what one expects from a well-cared-for, century-old upland gun that has been used as intended but maintained with respect.
A straightforward, desirable Parker DHE 20 Gauge with excellent fundamentals and the unmistakable feel of a classic American bird gun.
