LUGER 1917 DWM ARTILLERY 9MM

A classic First World War German military pistol — DWM Luger Artillery Model dated 1917, one of the most recognizable and sought-after variations of the legendary P.08.

Manufactured by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken, this example bears the 1917 chamber date and retains the distinctive 8" artillery barrel fitted with the adjustable rear ramp sight, a defining feature of the LP.08 pattern developed for extended-range use by artillery crews and specialized troops.

The pistol remains all matching numbers, an important factor for collectors of Imperial German Lugers. It is accompanied by one magazine.

Condition is excellent, showing only light handling while retaining strong overall finish and sharp mechanical presence.

The Artillery Luger represents one of the most iconic and historically significant Luger variants produced during World War I, combining the famous toggle-lock action with the extended barrel and adjustable sighting system designed for improved range and accuracy.

A very attractive 1917 DWM Artillery Luger, all matching and well preserved — a cornerstone piece for any serious Luger or WWI military pistol collection.
