LOUIS BRANCQUAERT HAMMER SXS PIGEON 10 GAUGE 2 BARREL SET

A powerful and correct Belgian hammer pigeon gun, this Louis Brancquaert 10 Gauge Side-by-Side Two-Barrel Set was built for serious live-bird shooting and reflects the strength and precision associated with Brancquaert’s best work.

The gun is fitted with two matched sets of 29 5/8" Whitworth steel solid-rib barrels, both choked .020 and .035 and nitro proofed for 3" chambers (LP09). Barrel dimensions are excellent throughout, with strong wall thickness and proper bore measurements across both sets, confirming sound, serviceable barrels intended for heavy use.

Best-gun features include side clips, a third fastener, double triggers, and extractors, along with a splinter forearm, English grip, and cast-off stock. A recoil pad has been fitted, appropriate for a hard-shooting 10 bore.

Weighing 8 lbs 2 oz, with dimensions of 1 15/16" DAH, 1 3/8" DAC, and 14½" LOP, the gun balances with authority while remaining responsive for its class.

Condition is excellent, showing only light handling from storage and careful use.

A rare, correct Brancquaert pigeon gun with two Whitworth barrel sets—built without compromise for the most demanding form of shotgun sport.
