A classic Continental live-bird gun from one of Belgium’s most respected makers, this Lebeau-Courally Standard Hammer Pigeon 12 Gauge reflects the strength, balance, and purposeful design for which Courally pigeon guns are renowned.
The gun is fitted with 29¾" solid rib barrels choked .027 and .035, nitro proofed for 2¾" chambers, and properly proportioned for sustained shooting. Barrel dimensions measure .028 (LT) and .029 (RT) wall thickness, with .729 bores, confirming sound barrel integrity and correct pigeon-gun specifications. As built, it features double triggers, extractors, a splinter forearm, and a classic English grip, maintaining the straightforward, competition-focused character of the Standard grade. A recoil pad has been added for comfort.
Weighing 7 lbs 12 oz, with dimensions of 2⅜" DAH, 1 9/16" DAC, and 14¾" LOP, it has the deliberate balance and follow-through expected of a hammer pigeon gun intended for serious work.
Condition is very good original, showing light handling from careful storage and use, with honest surfaces and strong overall presentation.
A correct, unembellished Lebeau-Courally hammer pigeon gun—built for performance, proven by use, and increasingly difficult to find in this honest, original state.
