L.C. SMITH MONOGRAM 12 GAUGE 32 INCH VENT RIB

A seldom-seen high-grade Smith, this L.C. Smith Monogram 12 Gauge from 1927 showcases the exceptional engraving, wood quality, and mechanical refinement that define Hunter Arms’ upper-level offerings. Equipped with 32" vent rib barrels choked Mod and Full (.028/.046) and built on 2¾" chambers, this is a long, steady, purpose-built gun with unmistakable presence.

The configuration includes a single selective trigger, ejectors, beavertail forearm, pistol grip, and a fitted recoil pad—a classic, practical setup for the shooter who values both performance and style. Weighing 7 lbs 14 oz, the gun balances with authority, supported by dimensions of 1¾" DAH, 1½" DAC, and 14" LOP.

It remains in very good condition, showing handling to wood and metal consistent with a gun that has been used but well maintained. The engraving, rib, and overall profile retain the elegance expected of a Monogram-grade Smith.

A strong, desirable example of a top-tier L.C. Smith—rare in configuration and ready for field, clays, or a knowledgeable collection.
