L. BOROVNIK BOXLOCK O/U COMBINATION GUN 20 GAUGE OVER 7X57 R

A finely made Central European hunting arm — L. Borovnik boxlock over/under combination gun in 20 gauge over 7x57R, built in the classic Alpine tradition where versatility and compact handling were paramount.

This gun is fitted with a 23¾" raised rib barrel set, with the rifle barrel equipped with one folding rear sight and ramped front sight, providing a quick and practical iron sight arrangement. It is also fitted with a claw-mounted Zeiss Diavari-Z 1.5–6x42 scope with duplex reticle, and the optics remain excellent. The traditional claw mount system allows the scope to be removed and replaced while maintaining zero.

The 20 gauge shotgun barrel is choked Full (.027) with a 3" chamber, making it suitable for upland birds or small game, while the 7x57R rifle barrel provides excellent capability for deer-sized game. This pairing makes the gun ideal for mixed hunting situations common in European forestry or mountain terrain.

The gun features double triggers and an extractor, along with a field forearm, steel-capped pistol grip, and steel butt plate, maintaining the classic continental sporting profile.

Weighing 6 lbs 5 oz without the scope and 6 lbs 14 oz with the scope, the gun remains light and well balanced. Stock dimensions measure 2" drop at heel, 1½" drop at comb, with a 13¾" length of pull.

Condition remains excellent, showing only light handling from careful use and storage.

A beautifully balanced European combination gun, offering the practical versatility of a 20 gauge shotgun and 7x57R rifle in a refined and highly portable sporting arm.
