A powerful and finely built Continental double — Karl Hauptman, Ferlach Austria Double Rifle in .375 H&H, presented new in its makers case.
Crafted in the Austrian gunmaking center of Ferlach, this rifle reflects the region’s reputation for precise mechanical work and refined execution. The rifle is fitted with 25½" barrels, regulated with a quarter rib carrying one standing sight, and further equipped with a Zeiss Diatal Z 6x42 scope mounted on a rail with quick-detach mounts, allowing immediate transition between optic and iron sight use.
The action is configured with double triggers, the front trigger set, along with ejectors, a beavertail forearm, and a pistol grip stock. The set-trigger feature offers enhanced precision for longer shots, while maintaining traditional double rifle functionality for closer work.
Weighing 11 lbs 4 oz with the scope installed and measuring a generous 15¾" length of pull, the rifle carries the proper mass and stock dimensions for confident recoil management in the versatile and widely respected .375 H&H chambering.
Condition is new, housed in its makers case.
A substantial and well-appointed Ferlach-built .375 H&H double — combining Continental craftsmanship, practical optics integration, and the enduring versatility of one of the most proven big-game cartridges in sporting history.
