JOHN BOLLIGER MOUNTAIN RIFLERY CUSTOM MAS-45 FRENCH MAUSER 22 LR REPEATER MIKE DUBBER ENGRAVED

An exceptional custom rimfire repeater built on the scarce MAS-45 French Mauser action and executed to true best-rifle standards by John Bolliger. Originally produced in the 1945–1947 period, the MAS-45 is prized for its strength, precision, and silky Mauser operation—making it an ideal foundation for a no-compromise .22 LR.

This rifle is elevated by Mike Dubber engraving, including a beautifully engraved additional floorplate with a safari scene, engraved bolt details with five-panel checkering, and an engraved pistol grip. The 24" barrel wears a quarter rib with one standing sight, complemented by a banded, hooded front sight. Optics are handled by a Leupold scope mounted in engraved rings, with covered scope bases allowing a clean, classic presentation when the scope is removed.

Thoughtful custom details abound: reinforced top and bottom tangs, barrel-band front sling swivel, inletted rear sling stud, a well-shaped cheekpiece, and a leather-covered recoil pad. The rifle balances beautifully at 7 lbs 4 oz, with a 14" LOP, giving it the feel of a scaled-down dangerous-game rifle—only in rimfire form.

Condition is excellent, as new, and the rifle is housed in a custom oak and leather hard case, completing a presentation rarely seen on a .22 LR.
