Ithaca 5E Single Barrel Trap 12 Gauge | Made 1931

The gun is fitted with a 32" vent rib barrel choked Improved Modified (.027 constriction) with a 2 3/4" chamber, a practical target configuration that remains effective for trap shooting today.

Features include a single trigger, ejector, beavertail forearm, pistol grip stock, and recoil pad, all contributing to the handling and control expected from a purpose-built target gun.

The gun remains in excellent condition with some light handling from storage and careful use, presenting as a well-maintained example.

Weight is 8 lbs. 2 oz., with stock dimensions of 2 1/8" DAH, 1 1/2" DAC, 1 13/16" DAMC, and 14 5/8" LOP, providing the dimensions and balance favored by many trap shooters.

By the early 1930s, Ithaca had established itself as one of America's premier makers of competition shotguns, and the 5E grade represented a step above the ordinary in both execution and presentation. Examples remain sought after by collectors of vintage American target guns and shooters who appreciate classic trap-gun design.

A desirable pre-war Ithaca trap gun that combines higher-grade features, proven target-gun configuration, and the craftsmanship of one of America's historic gunmakers.
