HOLLAND & HOLLAND ROYAL NO.2 12 GAUGE

A classic Holland & Holland Royal No. 2, representing the firm’s legendary Best sidelock workmanship in a refined, traditional configuration. Built as a non–self-opening Royal, this gun delivers the same mechanical excellence and elegant restraint that have defined Holland & Holland for more than a century.

Fitted with 30" solid rib barrels choked .013 and .036 and chambered 2¾", the gun is proofed for 1⅛ oz loads, making it well suited for driven birds and traditional game shooting. The classic layout continues with double triggers, automatic ejectors, a splinter forearm, straight English grip, and a traditional butt plate, all contributing to the light, lively handling expected of a London Best weighing just 6 lbs 8 oz.

This gun was originally part of a trio, adding further interest and context for the collector. Condition is good, showing light, honest handling consistent with careful use rather than abuse, and it remains a sound, shootable Royal. The presentation is completed by a correct oak and leather case.
