HOLLAND & HOLLAND NO. 2 HAMMERLESS EJECTOR 20 GAUGE

Some guns impress through ornament; others through proportion and restraint. This Holland & Holland No. 2 Hammerless Ejector 20 Gauge, completed in 1929, belongs firmly in the latter camp.

Built as a light, responsive game gun, it carries 28" solid rib barrels choked Modified and Full (.012/.021) with 2¾" chambers, a configuration that favors smooth swing and clean follow-through rather than excess weight or complication. The layout is classic and purposeful: double triggers, ejectors, splinter forearm, and a well-shaped English grip, all scaled beautifully to the 20-gauge format.

Condition is excellent, with only very minor handling visible to the wood and metal from careful use and long-term storage. At 5 lbs 12 oz, with dimensions of 2 5/16" DAH, 1½" DAC, and a 15⅜" LOP, it handles exactly as a London 20 should—quick to the shoulder, calm through the swing, and effortless to carry. The gun is cased, completing a proper London presentation.
