HOLLAND & HOLLAND MODEL DELUXE SXS PRE WAR 12 GAUGE

A refined London game gun from the interwar period — Holland & Holland Model Deluxe Side-by-Side 12 Gauge, built prior to World War II.

This elegant example is fitted with 28" solid rib barrels choked Improved Cylinder and Modified (.008 / .018) with 2½" chambers, a classic configuration for traditional driven or walked-up game shooting. The longer barrels and light overall weight give the gun the smooth, deliberate handling that defines a proper London game gun.

The gun retains the traditional arrangement of double triggers, ejectors, splinter forearm, and straight English grip, maintaining the clean proportions expected of a Holland & Holland best-quality field gun. At 6 lbs 7 oz, it is lively yet steady, perfectly suited for long days in the field.

Stock dimensions measure 2" drop at heel, 1⅜" drop at comb, with a 14¼" length of pull, offering comfortable and practical shooting dimensions.

Condition remains excellent, showing careful preservation and light handling. The gun is presented in its maker’s case with dust cover, completing the classic Holland & Holland presentation.
