HIGH STANDARD MODEL 103 SPORT KING 22 LR

High Standard Model 103 Sport King .22 LR | 6 3/4" Barrel | Made 1968

A High Standard Model 103 Sport King .22 LR, manufactured in 1968 and fitted with the desirable 6 3/4" round tapered barrel.

The longer barrel gives this Sport King a distinctly different profile from the more commonly encountered shorter-barreled examples, providing an extended sighting plane while retaining the trim lines of High Standard's sporting rimfire series.

The pistol features fixed front and rear sights, checkered plastic grips, and is accompanied by one magazine.

Condition is good overall with light handling to the metal finishes. There is visible blue wear to the barrel, consistent with use and age. No box is included.

High Standard built its reputation around exceptionally well-designed .22 pistols, and the Sport King offered that same basic platform in a straightforward sporting configuration. With its 6 3/4" tapered barrel and 1968 production date, this example is an appealing variation for the High Standard enthusiast or collector of classic American rimfire pistols.
