FRANCOTTE VL&D MODEL 14E 12 GAUGE

A high-quality Continental sporting gun, this Francotte V.L. & D. Model 14E represents the refined Belgian tradition of precision gunmaking—well regarded for smooth mechanics, excellent regulation, and understated elegance. Francotte guns have long been appreciated for combining durability with a level of finish and balance that places them among the better European doubles of the period.

This example is fitted with 28½" solid rib barrels with 2¾" chambers and measured choke constrictions of .007 and .012 (IC/Modified), offering a versatile setup well suited for both field use and sporting clays. The gun is equipped with double triggers and automatic ejectors, along with a splinter forearm and pistol grip, creating a practical and familiar layout with classic styling. A leather-covered recoil pad has been fitted, adding comfort while maintaining a traditional appearance.

Weighing 7 lbs 6 oz, the gun carries with a steady, confident feel and mounts smoothly. Stock dimensions measure 14½" length of pull, 2¼" drop at heel, and 1⅜" drop at comb, providing comfortable sporting proportions.

Condition is excellent, showing some light handling marks consistent with careful storage and normal use. The gun presents cleanly and remains very well suited for continued sporting use.
