FLLI RIZZINI – R1E 12 GAUGE 2 BARREL SET

A refined and highly desirable Italian sidelock, this F.lli Rizzini R1E represents the firm’s upper-tier craftsmanship, combining elegant lines, superb balance, and traditional execution. Built in 1984, this example is further elevated by Bregoli engraving, adding tasteful artistry without overwhelming the gun’s classic form.

Offered with a factory two-barrel set, the gun delivers exceptional versatility. The 26" solid rib barrels, choked IC/Mod (.010 & .028), are ideal for driven birds and general field use, while the 30" solid rib barrels, choked Full/Full (.040 & .040), lend themselves to longer-range presentations and more deliberate shooting. Both sets are chambered 2¾".

Classic features include double triggers with an articulated front trigger, a straight (English) stock, checkered butt, and excellent overall proportions. At 7 lbs 2 oz, the gun has the steady yet lively feel expected of a well-executed Italian Best-style sidelock.

Condition remains excellent, with only minimal handling marks to the wood and metal consistent with careful storage and light use. The gun is accompanied by its maker’s case, completing a correct and very attractive package.

An outstanding opportunity to acquire a F.lli Rizzini R1E two-barrel set—elegant, versatile, and built to a standard that continues to earn Rizzini a respected place among fine Italian gunmakers.
