FLLI GAMBA MODEL PRINZ SINGLE SHOT 225 WIN COLOSIO ENGRAVED

A finely crafted Italian single shot, this F.lli Gamba Model Prinz in .225 Winchester, manufactured in 1981, exemplifies the precision, balance, and elegant detailing that defined Gamba’s custom sporting rifles. Chambered in the flat-shooting .225 Win, it offers both uncommon caliber appeal and excellent field performance.

The rifle is fitted with a 24½" Böhler steel barrel and retains its fixed rear and ramped front sights, while a period-correct claw-mounted Schmidt & Bender Klassik 6x42 scope provides a superb optical pairing. The coin-finished action is engraved by Colosio, with tasteful coverage that complements the rifle’s clean, purposeful lines. Features include double set triggers, a tang safety, capped pistol grip, cheek piece, sling swivels, and a red rubber recoil pad.

Condition is excellent, showing only very minor handling to the wood and metal from careful storage and light use. The rifle weighs 7 lbs 15 oz with the scope and approximately 6 lbs 15 oz without, offering a well-balanced, easily carried single-shot platform.

A refined and uncommon Gamba Prinz—combining fine Italian craftsmanship, quality engraving, and a desirable European optic—ideal for the collector or sportsman seeking something distinctive and well executed.
