DUANE WIEBE RALF MARTINI CUSTOM GMA MAUSER 416 RIGBY

A top-tier dangerous-game rifle executed by two of the most respected names in modern custom gunmaking, this Duane Wiebe / Ralf Martini .416 Rigby is built exactly as a serious African rifle should be—clean, restrained, and mechanically uncompromising.

The rifle is built on a Granite Mountain Arms Magnum action, long regarded as one of the finest modern Mauser-pattern actions ever produced. It is fitted with a 25" Krieger barrel with an integral quarter rib, regulated with one standing and one folding leaf (100 & 200 yards), and paired with a claw-mounted Swarovski Z6 1–6x24—a near-perfect optic for close, fast work on dangerous game.

Classic safari details abound: flat-top checkering, extended top and bottom tangs, steel-capped pistol grip with trap door, cheekpiece, barrel-band front sling swivel, and an inletted rear sling stud, all executed with Wiebe’s hallmark precision and Martini’s exceptional stock work. The result is a rifle that balances beautifully and handles with authority.

Condition is very good to excellent, showing only very light handling marks consistent with careful storage and limited use. Weight is spot-on for a .416 Rigby, coming in at 9 lbs 8 oz without the scope and 10 lbs 12 oz with the scope mounted.

A no-excuses Africa-ready .416 Rigby—built by masters, on the right action, with the right barrel, and the right details—this is a rifle that satisfies both the experienced dangerous-game hunter and the serious custom-rifle collector.
