COLT DIAMONDBACK 22 LR 6 INCH BLUED

A classic Colt rimfire revolver — Colt Diamondback .22 LR, manufactured in 1978, representing one of Colt’s most refined small-frame double-action revolvers.

Often described as the “little Python,” the Diamondback features the distinctive vent rib barrel and full underlug profile that mirrors its larger .357 sibling while maintaining the lighter D-frame size. This example is fitted with a 6" barrel and adjustable rear sight, providing excellent sight radius and target capability in the .22 LR chambering.

Finished in Colt’s deep polished blue, the revolver remains in excellent condition, showing only a very slight cylinder drag line, typical of careful handling and minimal use.

The revolver is accompanied by its matching factory box, an increasingly desirable feature for collectors of late-production Colt revolvers.
