COLT BLACK POWDER SERIES BABY DRAGOON 31 CAL

Colt Black Powder Series Baby Dragoon .31 Caliber | Made 1981

A fine example of the Colt Black Powder Series Baby Dragoon, manufactured in 1981 and patterned after Colt's early pocket-size percussion revolvers.

This F-Series example features a 4" octagon barrel with Colt blue finish and a roll-engraved five-shot cylinder. The frame and hammer are case hardened, while the brass backstrap and trigger guard have a silver-plated finish. A one-piece walnut grip completes the traditional configuration.

The revolver remains in excellent, as-new condition, retaining a particularly strong overall appearance.

Included is the original Colt black box, which shows some exterior wear, along with the factory manual and additional factory paperwork.

With its classic blue, case-hardened, and silver-plated finish combination, compact proportions, and excellent condition, this is an attractive example of Colt's later Black Powder Series production and a nice companion to a collection of Colt percussion arms.
