COLT 1911 GOLD CUP NATIONAL MATCH 38 SPECIAL MID RANGE WITH COLT 22 LR CONVERSION

A highly desirable competition-era Colt Gold Cup National Match .38 Special Mid Range, manufactured in 1971 and offered in excellent condition, accompanied by a factory Colt .22 LR conversion kit in its box. This is a correct, purpose-built wadcutter pistol from the height of Colt’s bullseye dominance—scarce, accurate, and increasingly sought after.

Configured with the proper 5" National Match barrel and chambered in .38 Special Mid Range (wadcutter), this Gold Cup was built specifically for precision target shooting, delivering the soft recoil and exceptional accuracy that made these pistols favorites on the firing line. The included Colt .22 LR conversion adds real versatility and value, allowing inexpensive practice while maintaining the same grip and trigger feel.

Serial number 92XXMR presents cleanly with strong finish and sharp features, reflecting careful ownership. While the pistol itself is offered without its original box, the presence of the boxed Colt .22 conversion significantly enhances the package.

A standout opportunity to acquire a true bullseye-era Colt Gold Cup .38 Mid Range, complete with a factory rimfire conversion—an ideal addition for the Colt collector or serious target shooter who appreciates period-correct performance and long-term collectability.
