COLT 1911 COMBAT ELITE ENHANCED 45 ACP

A Colt 1911 Combat Elite Enhanced, chambered in .45 ACP, from Colt’s early-1990s production—an era when the Combat Elite line was positioned as a performance-oriented evolution of the classic Government Model.

Manufactured in 1992, this example features a 5" barrel and the distinctive two-tone configuration, pairing a stainless steel frame with a carbon steel slide. Enhancements include Accro adjustable sights, a beveled magazine well, and wrap-around rubber grips, reflecting the factory’s response to the growing demand for practical, competition- and duty-ready 1911s during this period.

Condition is as new, with only minor storage marks noted and no signs of hard use. The pistol is accompanied by its blue Colt plastic case, outer cardboard box, paperwork, and two magazines, making it a particularly complete package.

A clean, well-preserved example of Colt’s Enhanced Combat Elite, appealing to collectors of modern Colt 1911 variants as well as shooters seeking a factory-configured .45 with period-correct performance features and presentation.
