COGSWELL & HARRISON – BEST SIDELOCK 375 FLANGED

A classic British sporting rifle — Cogswell & Harrison Best Sidelock chambered in .375 Flanged Nitro Express, built in the traditional London style for serious stalking and plains game use.

The rifle is fitted with 26" barrels with excellent bores, carrying a quarter rib with one standing and three folding rear sights, providing graduated range capability in the field. The .375 Flanged remains one of the most versatile rimmed cartridges for double rifles — offering flat trajectory, manageable recoil, and decisive terminal performance.

Built as a true best-quality sidelock, the rifle features double triggers, ejectors, a splinter forearm, and a classic pistol grip configuration. Weighing 10 lbs 6 oz with a generous 15" length of pull, it balances as a proper medium-bore double should — steady in the hands with sufficient mass for recoil control while retaining lively handling.

The rifle is housed in its oak and leather makers case with label, completing the presentation in traditional British fashion.

A Cogswell & Harrison best sidelock in .375 Flanged represents a refined and highly usable double rifle — equally suited to collection, safari, or serious field use where classic British craftsmanship and practical performance meet.
